The UK’s newest Embedded Conference is now open for abstract submissions
Feabhas, the UK’s leading independent provider of embedded software development training, announces that the Embedded Live 2018 call for papers is now open.
Located at the NEC, Embedded Live aims to bring together engineers, managers and experts from across the world of embedded software development, to share their experience and knowledge.
The two-day conference (25-26 September 2018) covers four distinct half-day sessions, all related to the embedded environment. Each half-day session will focus on a core theme with talks of a practical pragmatic nature, sharing experience and knowledge. Just one relevant sponsored product talk will be included in each session.
The four session themes for 2018 are:
• Security and Safety
• Agile for Embedded
• Real-Time Operating Systems
• Quality and Reliability
As the conference is aimed at a broad spectrum of embedded software developers from managers, through senior engineers to development engineers, there should to be something for everyone in each session.
Therefore, the conference embraces papers covering one of the following topics per half-day session:
• Business Impact – focusing on the business impact of the technique/process being discussed. The talk should address the costs of adopting the technique under discussion, the return on investment and benefits (e.g. cost, quality, brand, reputation) • User Story – Explaining what you did, why you did it, what were the consequences and recommendations moving forward • How to – a more focused technical session on a particular topic that developers can really learn from
The closing date for applications is 30 April.
