Juki appoints Horizon
Sales in Florida
Juki Automation Systems (JAS), Inc. announced that Horizon Sales now represents the company in Florida. Horizon already manages and sells Juki equipment to the mid-western states of: Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Western Pennsylvania, Illinois, Eastern Iowa and Wisconsin, and has now expanded into Florida. Cirtronics expands capacity with fifth Speedprint printer
Cirtronics has taken delivery of its fifth screen printer from Speedprint Technologies. The company is renowned for its smart investment strategy in the finest assembly equipment for its manufacturing facility in Milford, NH, to serve customers across the US. Like the other Speedprint printers on the Cirtronics production floor, the latest SP710 printer is equipped with Speedprint’s unique, dual-head ADu+ dispensing system, built right into the printer. Cirtronics was among the first Speedprint customers to recognise the distinct advantages in flexibility and productivity offered by the ability to dispense extra solder paste or adhesive at the screen print stage of assembly. “There’s no doubt that Cirtronics makes great use of the ADu+ facility in our printers,” says Mark Brawley, President of Speedprint.
Valtronic welcomes three new team members
Valtronic welcomes Guy Sindelar, Project Manager, Dean Velasco, Firmware Engineer and Perry Reeder. Guy Sindelar is a new Project Manager reporting to Mike Labbe, Director R&D. Guy is responsible for meeting project goals for the entire product development life cycle (from development to industrialization). He will be a key point of contact for customers in maintain project momentum. Dean Velasco, also reporting to Mike Labbe, Dean is responsible for all aspects of the firmware development life cycle. Previously, Dean was employed by Moen Inc. as a Sr. Firmware Engineer where he was responsible for designing and developing firmware for ultra-low power applications. Perry Reeder is a new Area Sales Manager based in Dallas, TX, serving the Southwest Region reporting to Chris Cassan, National Sales Manager. Perry is the first sales person in this area for Valtronic and is excited to work with the growing biotech industry in the region. “Valtronic is excited to have the experience and drive that Guy, Dean and Perry bring to the team and know that our customers will benefit from their knowledge.” Stated Jay Wimer, CEO, Valtronic USA.
Ersa hires experienced field service engineer
Kurtz Ersa Inc. announced that it has hired Todd Shaw as its newest field service engineer in North America. Shaw joins Ersa with a very strong maintenance background and will be based out of the company’s Plymouth office. Chad Suckow, Kurtz Ersa Service Manager, comments, “Todd helps to round out our field service engineering team so that we continue to have strong and fast support for our customers in North America.” With more than 20 years of experience in various technical maintenance positions, Shaw is a perfect fit for Ersa’s service team. His background includes planning of all maintenance activity, managing maintenance staff, and driving uptime improvements.
Inventec Performance Chemicals names Sales Manager
Inventec Performance Chemicals USA LLC, announced Dan Walker has joined the organization as North American Sales Manager. Dan’s responsibility spans two major product lines; high-reliability soldering and sustainable cleaning chemistries. He will report directly to David Reitz, CEO and Managing Director of Inventec Performance Chemicals USA. David commented, “As we continue to grow and invest we have added a proven sales leader in Dan, who adds depth to Inventec’s already talented US sales team. His deep understanding of manufacturing company needs and unique issues will help us to best deliver value to our customers.
