Bob Stevenson joins Essemtec USA
Essemtec announced the appointment of Bob Stevenson to Business Development Manager in the U.S. Stevenson is responsible for strengthening Essemtec’s market presence in North America, bolstering the representative network, and expanding Essemtec’s business into underserved geographies and adjacent technologies. Stevenson is well-known throughout the semiconductor and solar photovoltaic industries, with more than 25 years of experience in capital equipment sales and marketing, business development and technology management. “We are excited to welcome Bob to our U.S. team,” stated Frank Bose, PhD, CEO. “Bob will be a true asset with the addition of his expertise in both the semiconductor and photovoltaic sectors. Altus and Danutek team up to share resources

Supported by Altus, Koh Young products are distributed throughout the UK, Ireland, Hungary, Romania and the Ukraine. Selling over seventy machines per year, Koh Young has an installed base of over 300 machines (SPI & AOI). After recognising the varying needs of each market, Altus has created an international inspection task force to provide customers with service and further information and advice.
Yamaha Motor IM Europe announces partnership
Yamaha Motor IM Europe announced its partnership with TMI Control Plus in France to best serve its customers in the region and increase its market share by offering Yamaha full range of products and solutions. Yamaha has been for almost 35 years developing and producing total solutions for its customers based on genuine daily production requirements. Yamaha has used its core technologies in the areas of servo-motor control and image recognition technology for vision (camera) systems to develop solder paste printers, printed circuit board inspection machines, flip chip hybrid placers and dispensers. Thanks to its full range portfolio, Yamaha Motor IM is able to offer a full line of machines for electric/electronic parts mounting and propose optimum production-line makeup to answer the diversifying needs of today’s manufacturers.
Henkel partners with Tekra to expand coverage
Henkel Adhesive Technologies’ Electronics business announced a new distribution partnership with plastic film and adhesives solutions provider, Tekra, A Division of EIS, Inc. Under the terms of the agreement, Tekra will deliver sales, technical consultation and post-sale service for Henkel’s full line of electronic ink materials in support of customers throughout North America.
“Tekra brings a level of technical expertise not often available from traditional distribution providers,” comments Todd Williams, Henkel Director of Global Product Management for Inks and Coatings. “As a film coating and converting company with decades of experience, Tekra’s understanding of printed electronics processes, chemistry and substrate compatibility, and root cause analysis is superb. ZESTRON Europe promotes Thomas Möller
ZESTRON Europe announced that Mr. Thomas Möller has been promoted to “Senior Process Engineer” on January 1st 2016. Mr. Möller joined ZESTRON’s Application Technology department in 2007. He has become an experienced specialist in cleaning electronics boards. In his new position as Senior Process Engineer, Mr. Möller’s main responsibility is to assist customers in China, Russia, Scandinavia, and countries around the Baltic region.

Powerbox appoints Acumen to distribute in South East Asia
