DETROIT REMAN TO HOST ON-SITE HIRING EVENT WITH HIBBING WORKFORCE CENTER
HIBBING — Detroit Reman, a company located near the Hibbing-Chisholm Airport which primarily re-manufactures semi-truck electronic components, is looking to hire a number of temp positions as well as a senior machinist position. They are housed in a very modern facility which was designed to be expanded as the company grows. The general process for re-manufacturing the components starts with disassembling and cleaning. The products then require various machining processes, paint applications, or technician repair prior to assembly. Once the parts have gone through all the necessary processes, they are tested to ensure the highest quality attainable. At this point, the components are packaged neatly and shipped out to the customer.
There are over 100 employees at the facility in Hibbing, and Detroit is looking to add more. The company will be hosting an on-site hiring event at the Workforce Center in Hibbing from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Aug. 17. Come ready to complete an application and possibly an interview on the spot. There is also a possibility of being invited to take a tour of the facility to learn more and determine if Detroit is the right fit for you.
