New Year, New Position: Chris Lingamfelter to Serve as President of White Systems
Happy 2017! Now that the hustle ‘n bustle of the holidays has subsided, it’s time to take advantage of the enormous potential that gets ushered in with every new year. January is a month of new beginnings and untapped possibilities—which means this is the perfect time for an exciting announcement from SencorpWhite:
For the first time ever, there will be a President of White Systems, and we have hired long-time logistics and AS/RS veteran Chris Lingamfelter for that role, effective immediately.
Why the new position? Because White Systems has grown rapidly over the past few years, achieving successful distribution installations across a variety of sectors, including:
- Aerospace: at Airbus, Gulfstream and United Airlines
- Manufacturing: at Boeing
- Repair facilities: for the United States Air Force and Lockheed Martin
- Hospital: at Providence Hospital
- Apparel: at ChefWorks
We’re at a point where we need someone who can focus exclusively on this side of the business and leverage these past accomplishments to drive even more growth.
I’m confident Chris has the background and know-how to do just that. With a resume that includes leadership positions in both Europe and the Americas for Intelligrated, Dematic and Kiva Systems (now Amazon Robotics), he has extensive experience in logistics software consulting and sales. He has also developed innovative hardware and software systems, sold complex supply chain solutions, cultivated long-term client relationships and managed multi-national strategic sales teams.
That’s why in the year ahead, you’ll see White Systems expand its reach beyond conventional AS/RS into innovative, integrated inventory management systems and high-density storage solutions, particularly across the biomedical sector. White Systems is already the leading provider of storage and retrieval systems for the hospital pharmacy space, delivering standard vertical carousels, dual-sided clean room and refrigerated carousels for oncology applications and RFID-enabled carousels for tracking high-value pharmaceuticals and medical devices. With Chris as President of White Systems, we expect innovation in this area to accelerate.
So best wishes to all in 2017… and here’s to keeping the optimism of new opportunities alive throughout the year!
