RAMPF and Reutlingen University enter powerful partnership for research
Sponsorship contract with Applied Chemistry and Engineering faculties
The RAMPF Group, an international specialist in engineering and chemical solutions for reactive resins and machine systems, has agreed a sponsorship contract with Reutlingen University. This cooperation aims to bring about an intensive knowledge and technology transfer with the faculties of Applied Chemistry and Engineering.
“Application- and solution-oriented research lays the foundations for new products and technologies,” said Michael Rampf, CEO of RAMPF Holding, at the official signing of the contract in the RAMPF Innovation Center in Grafenberg (near Stuttgart). “This is why we are supporting the faculties of Applied Chemistry and Engineering of Reutlingen University both financially and by sharing our specialist knowledge in the fields of engineering and chemical solutions. We look forward to lively exchanges and a mutually beneficial collaboration.”
Prof. Dr. Hendrik Brumme, President of Reutlingen University, emphasized that collaborations with medium-sized companies are vitally important for the university. “SMEs form the backbone of the German economy and are key drivers of innovation. The lively discussion among those present at the contract signing was symbolic of how the company and the university aim to focus their cooperation on practical aspects. Prof. Dr. Hendrik Brumme, Prof. Dr. Manuchehr Parvizinia, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Prof. Dr. Günter Lorenz, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Chemistry, came to an agreement with Michael Rampf and Matthias Rampf, as well as the RAMPF Managing Directors Dr. Utz-Volker Jackisch and Martin Neumann (RAMPF Machine Systems), Bernd Faller (RAMPF Production Systems), Dr. Klaus Schamel (RAMPF Polymer Solutions), and Heinz Horbanski (RAMPF Tooling Solutions) to put in place concrete collaborative measures without delay.
