Hermes – official launch of the new collaborative platform for machine-to-machine communication

Hermes is a new standard to assist manufacturers in the transition to ‘Smart Factory’ capability. The new standard transfers packets of information from machine-to-machine and controls the belt speed of the line. A full presentation on the technical capabilities and feature of the software standard will be presented. Hermes is supported by an industry consortia of over 20 capital equipment manufacturers.

The industry debate – which machine-to-machine software platform will become the industry standard

In the race to automate and optimize production lines and factories, there are a number of software contenders. Industry leaders are keen to arrive at one de facto standard that will provide the platform to build ‘smart factory’ line optimization in the future. This panel will comprise three of the leading contenders.
