Kalyan Nukala, ZESTRON, to present “pH Neutral vs Alkaline Cleaning Agents” at SMTA Atlanta 20th Annual Expo
ZESTRON, the global provider of high precision cleaning products, services and training solutions in the electronics manufacturing and semiconductor industries, is pleased to announce that Kalyan Nukala, M.S.Ch.E., Application Engineer, ZESTRON Americas, will present “pH Neutral vs Alkaline Cleaning Agents” at the SMTA Atlanta 20th Annual Expo.
Although modern aqueous alkaline cleaning agents effectively remove flux residues, achieving satisfactory results often requires an increase in temperature, exposure time, chemical concentration, and mechanical energy resulting in material compatibility issues. This presentation includes data from three case studies detailing how newly developed pH neutral formulations have proven to be capable of removing difficult post reflow residues from complex board geometries without affecting the material compatibility of sensitive components.
Mr. Nukala is an active member of the SMTA as well as the IPC. He has contributed to multiple case studies performed in collaboration with major cleaning equipment manufacturers. Mr. Nukala graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, India, and a Master’s Degree in Chemical & Natural Gas Engineering from Texas A&M University, Kingsville, TX. He has been with ZESTRON Americas since 2009.
The SMTA Atlanta 20th Annual Expo will be held at the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, GA, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
