New printer right off the booth at Apex
“It’s not unique but it is rare and rewarding,” says a satisfied Mark Brawley, Americas Vice President of Speedprint Technologies, referring to the fact that Speedprint sold one of the two SP710 screen printers directly off its booth at APEX 2016 in Las Vegas.
In addition to unexpected new business, and a bountiful supply of leads from show visitors researching the best in screen printing technology, Speedprint was also presented with a prestigious Service Excellence Award at the event. “The show was already shaping up well when we were granted the accolade by Circuits Assembly,” says a delighted Brawley. This is the third Service Excellent Award for Speedprint in the past four years. “It testifies to the concerted effort we’re making in redefining customer support in the US and across all other global regions, itself backed up by our 5-year warranty,” Brawley adds.
Peaking the most interest on the Speedprint booth was the company’s dual head ADu+ dispensing function built in to the SP710 platform. On-printer dispensing is an unusual resource. It is ideal for the selective deposition of flux and glue, or to add more paste post-print for revised board designs or to ‘top up’. In many applications, it can eliminate an entire machine from the SMT assembly line. Speedprint’s dual head ADu+ unit is capable of dispensing dots and solid lines.
