Smart Systems Integration 2017: Discussing about pioneering technologies for economy and society
Firm eye on the future: The conference Smart Systems Integration deals 2017 with the special topic “Emerging technologies for IoT and Industry 4.0.” Experts will especially highlight innovative technologies in this context and present the latest solutions and current research results. Among other things, highly complex systems like smart sensor-based data acquisition, optimizing communication and a faster processing of data, will play an important role within the conference. Experts will discuss also the impact of the Internet of Things and Industry 4.0 on business and society in the coming years:
„This technology has the potential to revolutionize our world, how we manage our environment, how we conserve the planet’s scarce resources, how healthcare is delivered, how goods and people are transported and much more“, explains Ray Speer, Local Co-Chair of the conference 2017 and Technology Director, Automation Energy & Sensors at Analog Devices Inc., Limerick, Ireland.
Exhibition: Display of an innovative product spectrum
As in previous years, an accompanying exhibition takes place within Smart Systems Integration. Developers and decision makers from the industry meet here e.g. R&D institutes and manufactures of components and systems in the sectors microsystems and nanotechnology, microelectronics, sensor technology and wireless communication.
In addition to numerous Fraunhofer institutes among all applications are well-known business companies like Polytec GmbH and the Swiss micro-nanotech cluster Micronarc. On the joint stand “start up”, young companies have the opportunity to present themselves and their innovative products to an international professional audience at specially subsidized conditions.
The conference Smart Systems Integration with accompanying exhibition will be held next year for the 11th time. The event takes place in Cork, Ireland, from 8 – 9 March 2017 and focuses on innovative smart systems, their production techniques as well as international research results of smart technologies and materials.
